High Paying Keywords for PPC Ads - Class 15

A keyword is a single word or phrase that is commonly searched for online. When you setup a advertising campaign for your website it will ask for keywords that you want to trigger your ads to show. For example if you were selling web hosting services the keyword would be web hosting.

Keywords all have a minimum bid before they will be active in your campaign. For example if web hosting is your keyword it will have a minimum bid of lets say for example $1, that means your ads would not start showing up until you set a bid of at least $1. Now if you set the min bid of $1 as the max you will pay, then your ads will start showing up but will not get displayed very often because your max price is at the min bid of $1.

Okay so what does this have to do with your website? Well if you are displaying PPC ads then the ads that are displayed will be set off of your keywords in your web page. The ad service will look at your title, file name, header text, and content to see which words best fit the content of your page.

So the trick to getting ads that pay well is to have content that has keywords that require a high minimum bid. The light bulb should be starting to light up in your head after putting some thought into this.
